Dr. M. Bavakutty, a very senior library professional in India is Professor
and Head, Department of Library and Information Science and University Librarian
of University of Calicut. During 2000-2001, he was the Registrar of University
of Calicut. He is the author of four books and about a hundred professional
papers. He was the Organising Secretary of the 42nd All India Library Conference
of the Indian Library Association held in 1996 at Calicut and was the Chairman
of the Organising Committee of the National Seminars held at the university in
last three years.
M.C. K. Veeran, Assistant Librarian, (Selection Grade) is a senior library
professional in the University of Calicut. Presently, he is the Head of the
Acquisition Section of the University Library. He was the Organising Secretary
of National Seminars held at the University in last three years.
Muhammed Salih T. K. is working as Information Scientist in the CHMK Library,
University of Calicut. He has about 17 years experience in the library
profession.
