Jagadeesh (S) (b. 1973) did his graduation from Sri Bhuvendra College, Karkala (Karnatak) in 1995 with first class; B. Lib. Sc. in 1996 from Mangalore University securing first rank.He also received his M. L. I. Sc. from same university in 1997 with distinction. Presently he is working as Librarian at S. N. Moodabidri Polytechnic, Moodabidri (Karnataka) .


Mahesh V. Mudhol (b. 1954) did his B. Sc. and secured first rank in B. L. I.Sc. from Karnatak University , Dharwad in 1975 . He received a cash award of Rupees One Thousand from Karnataka Government for securing highest marks in B. Lib. Sc He also received his M. Lib. Sc. from same university in 1976. He has worked in several responsible capacities such as Librarian at National Institute of Oceanography (CSIR), Dona-Paula, Goa; as Documentalist at Institute for Social and Economic Change, Banglore. currently, he is working as Senior Lecturer in Library and Information Science at Mangalore University, Karnataka. He has been holding this position since1982. The author has many papers published to his credit and a book entitled: 'Children's Libraries: A Study".
